You know what I'm tired of...I'm tired of my fellas always complaining that all women out there only want thugs and guys that do them wrong...I'ma tell you the truth...
Women do not like Thugs..it's 2010...Ladies correct me if I'm wrong...but I'll tell you why..
1. Women like guys with a edge...guys that take charge...guys that are confident in themselves and their approach...not guys who act shy and are content to let all women throw them in the "Friend Zone"...
2. Fellas either make the mistake of trying too hard to impress a woman...or trying too hard to be that asshole type...hey man....that's not you...be yourself...shit....women can sniff out a imposter faster than a Tiger Woods text...POW....
3. Get to know the woman first...you try and throw all that slick shit and money at a woman...then get mad when they don't take you serious...a woman wants a man...not a rapper wannabe...
4. Stop talking to her like she's the Queen of England...be real...she's a person too...chances are she is just ready to have fun on the first date...
5. If she doesn't connect with you...don't blame her...or yourself...it just didn't work...move on..I get tired of guys trying to get the pity party going by sayin "Nice guys finish last...regular guys can't get a break"....then his homegirls...(who are all fine btw) come to him saying..."well you'll find the one...just keep looking"...that guy will never find the one...
6. IMPORTANT...maybe you're just trying to get women that obviously aren't compatable wit you....the class nerd isn't going to date the video vixen...you're better off without her...Looks aren't everything...but you can't get in the door without em...
7.Don't bring that gentleman shit in the bedroom...Ladies hate nothing more than to let a guy get the draws...and he's being all nice....asking her what she wants him to do...what will make her feel good...apologizing all the damn time...grow a pair...take charge....that's why ladies like the "Thug" type....not the thug but that characteristic...he takes charge...confidence is sexy to a woman..

I think everyone has a “type” regardless of what we say. I know eXactly what my type is and I also know what other characteristics I like and dislike. There needs to be a balance and I know it when I see it.
ReplyDeleteLet’s be clear, WOMEN are into gentlemen who they can bring the “thug” out of. Women are attracted to the “good guys” who obviously have a “bad boy” side just ready to be teased out of slumber. And we… my bad, I meant WOMEN… know this because that’s how women are: good girls with that “bad girl” side men are waiting to see.
On the other hand, GIRLS are into thugs who they want to bring the gentleman out of. It just does not work that way. Same problem with a gentleman trying to make it work with a ho, then getting upset when she isn’t faithful. You knew she was a ho just like the girl knew the thug was a thug. Not saying a thug can’t have a “good guy” side, respect his momma, and all that jazz, but if he does, then he will not be classified as a “thug” in the first place. He is a “good guy” with an edge.
So, you’re right. Thugs are so "No Limit"/"Murda Inc." And on #1, the right woman knows what it takes to take a “Friend Zone” guy and bring out his edge. But, we will let a guy stay there if he really seems like he’s comfortable. It depends on a woman. Some of us don’t mind taking charge so long as we get positive, increasing results.
Anyhoo, “confidence is sexy to a woman”. Yup…
"Women do not like thugs". Well, I guess I can vouch for that statement were it not for the fact that, now-a-days being a "thug" just isn't even the "cool" label to have anymore in the first place. The phrase may be outdated, but the "type" still exists, and so do the women that are attracted to them. Now, a more accurate statement would be, women with common sense do not like "thugs". Now, I'll buy that.
ReplyDeleteI do agree that women like a man with a little edge. But it has to be balanced out with a bit of romance and chivalry too. Most guys I know either take it to far too the right, or too far to the left totally foregoing the middle ground and leaving much to be desired as a total package.
I always say, I like a man who's an alpha male in the streets, but a teddy bear when he's with me. But that's just my personal preference. Still, I know a few chicks who thrive off of the kind of drama a knuckle headed dude can bring. And they know exactly where to go to find one that fits the bill. Call him a thug, player, whatever you wanna call him.... ultimately, it's the same kind of guy. He has no fear, no conscience, no respect for consequence, and most times, one track minded and always looking for some shit to get into. Some women have been obsessed with this type of guy since forever, and I don't see any end in sight. It just depends on what a womans preference is.
I mean, as you can plainly see with Tony the “Tiger” Woods, the asshole type of guy usually has no shortage of fans by his side at all times. So I would say that sometimes nice guys do finish last, or turn into assholes in the process. But like you said, the answer is finding a woman who is more on your level. But the man has to be honest about who he really is. Nice guys need nice girls. And you are so right, a woman can smell a poser from a mile away. So I agree, be yourself and be confident in whoever you happen to be, and you’ll find the right woman for you eventually.
